Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride.

I've been back on my stationary bike for a couple of months now but I have no direction. Last year, beginning in January, I tried biking to PEI. I was about 300km short of my destination though I was very happy that I rode around 1600 km over a six month period.

This year I'm starting earlier but I need someplace to go. That's where you come in. If you would like me to "visit" you please leave a comment below with your city and state/province. I will try to come up with a route that takes in as many of you as possible. It really does provide me with more motivation to keep pedaling when I have places to go and people to meet!

See you in the slow lane!!

  5. I live in Lewiston Idaho. It is down a steep 7 mile grade, to sea level. We have a bike race every year called making the grade. It is a killer. I'd love to have you bike to see me. I plan to visit PEI someday and just show up under your bed. I won't eat much!arado

  8. Visit me in Antioch IL! I really do wish that I had a treadmill or a bike. I'm just scared that I would end up dusting them or hanging laundry on them.
