CANADA. IS. HOCKEY.

WOW WOW WOW!! This team showed such grit and determination - even when down 2-0 with less than 4 minutes to play they dug deep and tied the game with only 56 seconds left on the clock.

Of course that meant overtime and our girls managed to fend off the hungry American team who played to win. The Canadian girls triumphed against all odds, coming back to win 3-2. WOW. 

Don't. Ever. GIVE. UP!!

And I can't forget about our undefeated women's curling team led by the awesomely incredible super duper Jennifer Jones who skipped her team to gold today!! It was a bit of a nail-biter too but they pulled ahead to win!!

And let's not forget that Jennifer made Olympic history during Round Robin play:
"Winnipeg skip Jennifer Jones made Olympic history Monday, defeating South Korea 9-4 to become the first woman to go through the Olympic curling round-robin unbeaten."

       Canadian women ROCK the rocks!! Tee hee!

So of our 7 gold medals our female athletes have won FIVE!!! C'mon men, get with it!!
