Such fun I am having with the internet. Bell is coming July 21st. Please keep me in your prayers as they attempt to connect me! Meanwhile I will keep busy by driving to Halifax and causing mayhem with my friend Jules. We'll be back on the "gentle island" on Friday.
This past weekend I went to see my sister and enjoy some time at Montague's Summer Days. We also had some family visiting from the States and we had a great time beach combing, eating and gabbing. I have the distinction of being the first guest in my sister's farmhouse which is still under construction. Thanks to my brother-in- law for hanging a curtain across my bedroom door for privacy:)
I only got a few black fly bites:/
Unfortunately all my photos are on my phone so prepare for some photo heavy posts once I am connected. This post is brought to you by my iPad and the Albert and Crown pub in lovely downtown Alberton. I enjoyed some excellent chowder, a tea biscuit, carrot cake and a glass of wine.
Now back to Crofters Lane to pack for Halifax. Talk to you soon!
I'm glad you had a great time with your sister!
ReplyDeleteThis internet thing could be the perfect excuse to graze your way through a bunch of great pubs - that meal sounds terrific!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck!

Look at you.
ReplyDeleteYou are a social butterfly.
Zipping around to visit everyone and everywhere.
Carrot cake! Cant wait for some photos. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOur internet has been spotty too. A few times in the last month, I've been down for at least an hour or three... grrr... Luckily i have a hot spot with my cell phone company but I have to work from my daughter's lap top when I use it. I'll make my hubs figure out how to make it work on my tower eventually... Yesterday the power went out and I had to work on the hotspot in the car with the laptop... Criminy...
ReplyDeleteHopefully July 21st will be the photo post day then!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having a fantastic time. Glad to hear the summer is off to a great start. I'm sure Bell won't have a problem getting you up and running. We had similar issues getting internet hooked up when we first moved but we got with Bell too and it's been clear sailing ever since.
