Money Saving Tip

I'm sure you've all heard the saying "You gotta spend money to save money!"  Well, I'm here to say that I'm going to put that old adage to the test. Just for you, I'm going to make the sacrifice and see if it holds water. Or not.

Yes, that's right. In the name of ECONOMIC SCIENCE, a well-known branch of the MONETARY SCIENCES, I am volunteering (you can thank me later) to participate in the study of "Chicken Wings: Are the Cheaper Monday Night Wings of EQUAL VALUE to the higher-priced TUESDAY NIGHT WINGS and the WEDNESDAY NIGHT WINGS and the THURSDAY NIGHT WINGS etc??" I will submit my detailed analysis in a week's time. You're welcome!

Or was that "You've gotta spend money to make money?"

Oh well...

  1. Chicken wings with blue cheese dressing or just coated heavily in sticky BBQ sauce. Thanks Jane you have just ruined my diet plans this week because I want these sooo bad right now.
Oh and a beer or nice glass of wine would go lovely with these.
Have a great taste testing week.

  20. Ok, here's what you do. Put them in a roasting pan; mix up 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of cream of celery soup, 1 can of water and 1 cup of wild rice, stir together and pour over your chicken. Top with 1 package of dried onion soup mix, cover tightly and bake for 2 hours, uncover and eat your face off!! My daughter's fave chicken recipe!

  23. make sure you keep the same amt and type of alcohol each time - don't wnat the mon night ones to be better because you had an extra glass of bubbly(or extra 'attention' before you ate!)

  27. I can't get sentimental about chickens. We had chickens when I was a kid and I'd collect the eggs and the old birds weren't very friendly! Then when they got too old to lay I'd watch my dad hook one around the neck and cut its head off. Then I'd watch him remove the feathers and take everything out - he'd name each part and tell me what it was for. Even though we raised them just for food he still loved them - but I never did!
