I'm Rich!!

Yes, you heard me, I'm RICH!! Did I hit the jackpot? Rob a bank? Strike oil?

Panning for gold
No, none of the above!

I must be rich though, because I am spending money like there is no tomorrow! I think it's the weather - it makes me feel like a million bucks! I can't stop smiling! I can't stop using exclamation marks!! See, there I go again! I get in my car, roll down all the windows, crank the tunes and sing at the top of my lungs! I think to myself, where can I go?? Oh, I know, I'll just return that bicycle helmet I bought the other day at Walmart because I don't really need it since Michael found mine tucked away in the furnace room. Oh, now that I'm here I think I'll just stroll on over to WINNERS!!! Because, yes, I am a WINNER!!

Two hours later I've really won the lottery because EVERYTHING FITS AND LOOKS GREAT!! Maybe I should look around some more, try on a few more dozen things...I'm on top of the world. What a difference losing a few pounds makes on my small frame. I'm ready to go on TOP MODEL!!  Wheeeee! I have spring fever! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday because I am going to CRASH AND BURN! I hid the receipt so I can't look at it and bemoan the fact that I am SILLY!! I didn't need anything that I bought - I just darn well wanted it!!

And I haven't even gotten to the shoe stores yet!! SAVE ME SOMEBODY........!!

The grass is green,
The sun is riz,
What a silly that Jane is! :)

Sometimes you just have to go with it, Jane. You sound like you're on top of the world, and what's wrong with that? Not helpful, I know, but happy is worth a lot more than fretting about some new clothes, right?

Must be in the fresh London air, Jane, cause I bought a new lens! ;)

You stay out of that shoe store.  I bought a new patio umbrella and three plastic table clothes for the deck.  Our broke in a wind storm and the clothes from last year were shredded.  But I still spent money!

It's been a month like that for me as well, and I know we are going to suffer next month when the mastercard statements arrive!!

My spending is a bit out of control too.  I am just kinda going with it.  If I fight it, it tends to get worse and I really get out of control :)

Yes!  I must be RICH too!!  Is it the weather? Perhaps it is!  Unfortunately for me, clothes shopping joy will be shortlived when I realize I have to go UP in size.  Ugh.

mine's been out of control - just planted my 'garden' - the last few thigns sorta got stuck halfway in the ground with a semi-prayer and a drink of water! yep I keep telling myself to study up or take a class or get someone with experience to coach me through this ordeal but I never do then it's spring again! supposed to be a really hot summer again and last year the stuff didn't make it -g ot too hot.
hey if you'd gain about 100  lbs you wouldnt' be clothes shopping..nothing would look good! ;-)

It's the season.for me spring is worse than Christmas. LIke susanna I need to get at least some things planted. I tell myself I dont need any clothing until I lose more weight thats my only saving grade. Although I went to the quilt store yesterday just for some fabric for a border and they had all these bright, springy fabrics there...

You have got a big case of the Spring Fever dahling!
Now put the dress/jacket/pants/skirt down and back away from the clearance racks....slowly......now breath deeply.....get into your car/onto your bike and drive away....and crack open a big bottle of wine at home and RELAX......
You can thank me later. ;-)

We have the same affliction. I wonder if it will pass like the flu.
