Thank you Freckles :)
I thought it might be good for me if I posted shorter posts but more frequently, sort of a check in, maybe daily, maybe not. Pain levels are high today, mood is not too bad. I'm heading out shortly on my bike to go to the Gathering on the Green, an annual event where my brother will be selling his birdhouses and a friend will be making bracelets and bookmarks with neighbourhood kids. I'll get some photos and post later.
Meanwhile here are a couple of photos from the past week: a local cat visiting Luna and Lily...
A sleepy looking Lily with a little bit of pink tongue hanging out...
Uncle Fred, my mom's oldest brother...he passed away 5 weeks ago...
My gramma and her 4 children - my mom and her 3 brothers. The middle one Arthur passed away a week ago leaving only the cowboy - my Uncle Verne, who will turn 90 on August 2nd. My generation is rapidly moving towards becoming the "older" generation.
That looks like my house. We have a cat from the neighbourhood who comes to visit ours and peeks in the screen just like this. We call her boots.
ReplyDeleteYou have some real pretty and cute people in your family.
ReplyDeleteI consider myself more of a dog person but the photos of your Double L twins always crack me up. Their personalities transmit quite well through the computer screen.
ReplyDeleteYou resemble your maternal family; your smile looks like your mother's.
Cats how could we live without them? You have long lives in your family woo hoo sorry about your pain bummer.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling a bit better today, Jane! xx
ReplyDeleteI consider myself way to young to be the older generation, but it is happening in my family as well. Only my parents and Uncle Bob are left to keep us from being the oldies. How is that possible?
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your uncle's passing. Glad you are feeling a bit better..
ReplyDeleteSorry about your uncle.
ReplyDeleteI too am quickly advancing to the older generation. Maybe instead of older generation we should call it the more fun generation.
